Independence day is not about Government holiday !!
Aug 15 th 2006...
It's been 60 years now since we got the 'ananda suthanthiram'. Every year somebody keep rising the question, Is the suthanthiram feel anantham for itself by our deeds? and everybody knows the answer for themselves.
" Naadu unaku enna seithathu endru ketkaathe..
Nee naatuku enna seithaai endru kell.. "
okay, fair enough, doing good for country.. but how ? we dont have to think too far. Being good to ourselves and doing good for our home and our surroundings, that's it, we are almost done. let us tell to our heart & mind now...
we be ourselves right we are now, till our stop line..
Be self disciplined, not corrupted in thoughts, thinking for others, helping others as much as we could. let make our elders be proud for us.
This post is No sort of 'arivuruthal', as we are all matured enough.

Happy Independence Day. Mostly it now means holiday, pattimanram and
another thallupadi .
I still remember my school the parade, canvas shoes and the patriotic songs. Miss those days but the feelings are still strong.
Once they had "kappalotiya tamizhan" movie on TV literally I could not stop the tears when V.OC and Subramanya siva talk at the end of the movie..Kashtapattu kidaitha sudhanthiram..

Anyways we need to do our part "Veera Suthathiram Vendum enbar Pinnar Veronru Kollvaro"
